Reverse demulsifier

Reverse demulsifier can effectively improve the interfacial tension of oil-in-water (W/O) or oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion, so that the colloidal particles in the sewage lose their stable repulsion and attraction, and eventually lose their stability and form floc, and further through chemical bridging, finally complete the separation of oil and water in the sewage and the separation of harmful impurities. To achieve the purpose of recovering oil products and purifying sewage, in order to meet the requirements of water quality in subsequent treatment processes or to meet the national requirements for sewage discharge.

principle

The demulsifiers used in the early stage are generally anionic surfactants with strong hydrophilicity. Therefore, the early demulsification mechanism believes that the first step of demulsification is that the demulsifier contacts with the oil-water interface film under the action of thermal energy and mechanical energy to displace the natural active substances in the crude oil interface film and form a new oil-water interface film.

The new oil-water interfacial film has strong hydrophilicity and poor fastness, so the oil-in-water emulsion can be reversed into oil-in-water emulsion. The water in the outer phase coalesces with each other, and when it reaches a certain volume, it settles out from the oil phase due to the difference in oil-water density.

SAD sums up all the factors that affect demulsifier. When SAD=0, the emulsion has the lowest stability and is the easiest to reverse phase demulsifier.

Product use

It is an oil-soluble broad-spectrum demulsifier with good oil-water separation effect and good breaking effect of emulsification caused by solid impurities.

It is mainly used in the process of electric desalting, condensing system, water collection pipeline and sewage treatment.

The separation of oil and water from produced water and wastewater containing polymer in the process of oil exploitation;

Demulsification of emulsion and cutting fluid wastewater produced by machining, hardware manufacturing, etc.;

Demulsification of emulsion and alkaline wastewater produced by cold rolling in iron and steel works;

Oil-water separation of coking wastewater produced by coking plant;

Oil and water separation of animal and plant oil wastewater from tannery and fur production;

Removal of organic matter from chemical wastewater with high concentration.

Usage method

In order to ensure the effect of demulsification, the demulsifier is applied to a continuous injection system of dosing pump, usually the dosing point is upstream of the oil phase flow.

Dosage varies according to the degree of emulsification and operating conditions, usually between 10-200ppm.

The demulsifier should not be mixed with other chemical agents unless its compatibility has been verified by our technicians.

Usage and dosage

Add 10-1000ppm (the specific amount can be determined according to the field test) to the oily wastewater, stir for 1-2 minutes, you can quickly break the milk.

The demulsifier has a synergistic effect, adding PAC or PFAC or PFC of 5 ~ 100ppm in the early stage can make the water quality clear quickly.

After the demulsifier is added to achieve demulsification, a small amount of configured polyacrylamide solution (3-5‰) can be added in the later stage for flocculation and precipitation.

The amount of demulsifier and the pH of wastewater can be adjusted to achieve the purpose of rapid demulsification separation. The best pH is at 6 ~ 7.

According to the actual situation of the user’s wastewater, determine whether PAC and PAM are added in the experiment, the order and the specific dosage.

Packing and storage

Packing in plastic drums, 25kg per barrel or according to user requirements. Store in a cool, ventilated place, avoid direct exposure to sunlight, and avoid freezing.

Safety protection

PE2157 demulsifier is oil-soluble, has a slight odor, and has no obvious irritation to the skin. It can be washed with water when it comes into contact with the skin.
