Point depressant refers to the chemical that can reduce the freezing point of lubricating oil, generally polymer organic compounds, many varieties and oil and gas use point depressant. The commonly used varieties of lubricating oil are alkyl naphthalene, polymethacrylate, polya-olefin and so on. Among them, polya-olefin (code T803) is a new light-colored coagulant developed in the 1970s. The olefin was cracked by soft wax as raw material and polymerized in the presence of Ziegler-Natta catalyst after proper refining. The molecular weight was adjusted with H2, and the catalyst was removed by esterification water after treatment.

PPD is a polymer or condensation whose molecule generally consists of a polar group (or aromatic nucleus) and a chemical composition similar to the alkyl chain structure of paraffin hydrocarbons. Usually a small amount of addition can significantly reduce the apparent viscosity of the oil and the freezing point of the yield value, thus achieving improved oil and low temperature fluidity. Therefore, it is also known as the low temperature flow improver PPD(freezing point depressant).
Application characteristics:

The product has excellent low temperature dispersion and fluidity, and has good oxygen resistance and corrosion resistance and high temperature purification, which can effectively prevent high temperature oxidation of oil products and corrosion of pistons.
At present, the technology has been updated to the second generation of products, in order to distinguish the first generation of products, renamed the second generation of diesel anti-coagulant. Compared with the first generation of ordinary diesel anticoagulant, the high applicability of the second generation of diesel anticoagulant has revolutionary significance, effectively reducing the cold filter point and freezing point of diesel, improving the low temperature flow performance of diesel, ensuring the smooth cold start of the engine, and effectively solving the problems caused by the sudden drop in temperature and cross-regional driving.
Scope of application:
Suitable for all diesel engines, including trucks, tractors, diesel locomotives, construction machinery, ships and generator sets for isoparic engine light diesel.
Mainly used as 0#-10#, 20#, 35#: diesel additives to reduce the freezing point of diesel by 15-30 degrees Celsius. The cold filter is reduced by 4-12℃ to achieve the purpose of improving the low temperature flow point of diesel oil is to expand the diesel fraction, improve the efficiency of diesel oil collection, and increase the efficiency of the refinery.

Refinery filling program:
1. pre-filling preparation: due to the large viscosity of the product in winter, it is paste, so special filling equipment and process must be prepared. Equipment to be prepared: a 10-20 cubic tank, a heating room for steam heating (can heat 6-10 barrels of products at a time, if there is a special greenhouse can be omitted), a metering pump (the range is selected according to the amount of addition). The process to be prepared: low-pressure steam process heating (through to the bottom of the heating room, blowing upward), wind stirring process (instrument wind through the lower part of the storage tank, into a diagonal distribution, automatically forming a swirl), dosing process (dosing point should be selected at the inlet of the external pump after diesel hydrogenation, the oil temperature is appropriate at 40-60℃).
2. Note matters needing attention
(1) Before filling, the unit time dosage should be calculated according to the diesel output (1000 PPM filling amount is 1000 tons of diesel and 1 ton of diesel decoagulant).
(2)Pour 10-15 times the amount of diesel decoagulant into the storage tank (oil temperature is appropriate at 40-60℃), open the air stirring.
(3)Heat the diesel decoagulant in the heating room until the flow is good, and then pump it into the storage tank, and then adjust the measuring range of the metering pump, and inject the diesel pipeline while stirring (if there is a static mixer on the pipeline, it is better).
(4)Configure the next tank after all is used up. Do not mix water in the whole process.
Oil blending and end-user filling solutions:
a Take the oil sample for the experiment, choose the appropriate proportion of their own addition.
b According to the ratio of 3 to 1, take the oil to be added and do a good miscibility with the coagulant, it is recommended that the oil temperature is between 20 and 70 degrees.
c After the mixture is done, the solvent is slowly injected into the blended product oil and the air pump is started to stir for half an hour.
